This website and its associated services are operated by Frank Alexander Tiersch under the business name Nomad Supply Station. The operator of the Nomad Supply Station platform and the contractual partner (hereafter “you” or “customer”) for contracts concluded via the platform is:

Using this website and its services implies acceptance of all terms, policies, and notices. Nomad Supply Station reserves the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time without prior notice. No part of the service may be reproduced or exploited without written permission from Nomad Supply Station. Nomad Supply Station assumes no responsibility for the accuracy of the information on this website. Content is for general informational purposes only and should not be used as the sole basis for decision-making. Historical information may not be current. It is the lessee's responsibility to monitor changes on the website. Colors and images of products may differ from their actual appearance. These terms apply to all publications in all media.

Rental Period

  • The rental period is individually agreed upon and begins with the handover of the rental item.
  • The rental agreement ends with the return of the rental item.
  • Extensions must be agreed upon in writing.
  • Rentals exceeding 6 months are possible only in exceptional cases and must be expressly requested.
  • Deposits are determined individually and discussed.
  • An extension of the rental period can be requested via email at ask@nomadsupplystation.com. 

Rental Prices, Payment, and Late Fees

  • Rental prices are based on the prices listed in the online shop.
  • The lessee will receive an invoice including all costs and the deposit with the order confirmation.
  • In case of loss or damage to the rental item, the deposit will be fully retained.
  • Rental price and deposit must be paid before the rental begins. The contract becomes valid only after full payment.
  • Prices for products can change without prior notice, but do not affect active rental agreements.
  • Promotions cannot be combined and are valid until sold out.
  • Coupons are limited to one order and may have special restrictions.
  • Payment can be made in cash or through all payment methods offered by SumUp, including credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay.

Delivery & Return

  • Delivery includes also the return at your location.
  • The delivery is only available in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
  • The delivery of rented items is in accordance with the delivery conditions stated in the online shop.
  • Delivery times may vary depending on availability and delivery address.
  • Delivery is possible from Monday till Friday between 9 am and 11 am and between 3 pm and 9 pm.
  • Nomad Supply Station strives for fast and reliable delivery.
  • We coordinate the delivery with the lessee in advance so that the lessee can plan the presence accordingly.
  • If we cannot reach you on the first delivery attempt, the delivery fee must be paid again or the lassee can alternatively pick up the item from our pop-up store.

Self-Pickup & Self-Return

  • As we operate multiple storage locations, the specific pickup point will be provided in your order confirmation.
  • Self-Pickup and Self-Return is possible on the following schedule: Monday till Friday between 9 am and 11 am and between 3 pm and 9 pm

Use and Subletting

  • The lessee is required to handle the rental item carefully and use it only for its intended purpose.
  • During the rental period, the rental item may not be transferred to third parties for use, sold, given away, rented, or lent without prior written consent from Nomad Supply Station. Except unless a special contractual arrangement with Nomad Supply Station’s partners is in place.
  • The lessee is required to treat the equipment as if it were their own. They should avoid overuse and not expose the equipment to environments that could lead to premature wear and tear.
  • The lessee should remove dirt, sand, saltwater or other residues that have accumulated during use. A simple surface cleaning before returning the equipment helps maintain its longevity and hygiene. 

General Return Conditions

  • Upon return, the condition and any damage to the rental item will be documented and communicated to the lessee if there are damages.
  • Please ensure all rental items are returned in proper condition. It is crucial that household appliances, as well as sports equipment, are thoroughly cleaned and free from dirt and sand.
  • Specific Instructions for Sports Equipment
    • Sports equipment must be returned dry, clean, and completely free of sand to avoid any damage or contamination.
  • Specific Instructions for Household Appliances
    • Household appliances must be clean and cleansed before returning. Note that these appliances will undergo an additional cleaning by us.
  • Return of Computer Equipment
    • Keyboards and mice must be free from dirt and debris. A careful cleaning before returning is required to ensure hygienic reuse
  • Late Returns
    • For late returns without prior approval, the normal additional rate and a processing fee of 50 Euro we charge the customer in this cases.

Damage and Loss Reporting and Customer Service

  • All matters related to the contract, products, including damages or malfunctions must be reported immediately via email to ask@nomadsupplystation.com.
  • If possible, attach pictures of the damage.  

Responsibility for Product Quality

  • Nomad Supply Station is fully responsible for ensuring the products are handed over in excellent condition and will accept returns if the products are defective upon handover.
  • If a product is defective at the time of handover, Nomad Supply Station will cover all costs related to the return of such products. The customer must report the defect within 24 hours from the receipt of the product and ensure that the product has not been used or altered in any manner.
  • Nomad Supply Station is not responsible for any damages or defects that occur after the product has been handed over and accepted by the customer.
  • Additionally, Nomad Supply Station will not assume liability for any rental services used without complaints but later claimed to be unsatisfactory.
  • The customer is required to inspect the product at the time of handover and must reject the handover if any damage or deterioration is detected.

Insurance and Liability Disclaimer

  • Rental items are provided without insurance. The lessee is liable for loss or damage of the rental items.
  • For damages caused by the lessee, the cost must be covered, potentially directly deducted from the deposit.
  • Nomad Supply Station is only liable for intent and gross negligence. No guarantee is given that products or services meet the lessee's expectations or that service errors will be corrected.
  • Nomad Supply Station accepts no liability for damages resulting from non-use or defects of the products.
  • Nomad Supply Station assumes no liability for any damages caused by the Lessee using the rented items, whether to themselves, third parties, or their property.
  • The lessee is solely responsible for the proper and safe use of the rented items.
  • The lessee indemnifies the Lessor from all claims by third parties arising from the use of the rented items.
  • For damages caused by the lessee, the lessee is fully liable. Damages must be reported immediately and, if applicable, will be deducted from the deposit.

Right of Withdrawal

  • The customer has the right to withdraw from the rental agreement up to 72 hours before the rental period begins without incurring any cancellation fees.
  • If the customer wishes to withdraw from the rental agreement within 72 hours before the start of the rental period, a processing fee of 25 Euros will be charged.

Ordinary and Extraordinary Termination

  • Early return is possible, but the rental price will not be refunded.
  • Nomad Supply Station reserves the right to make an exception on a case-by-case basis, but there is no entitlement to this.
  • Exceptions are long-term rentals over 6 months, which can be terminated with a notice period of 14 days at the end of the month starting from the 6th month.

Compensation for Damages

  • Nomad Supply Station is liable only for damages caused by gross negligence or intent.
  • For damages caused by the lessee, the lessee is fully liable. Damages must be reported immediately and, if applicable, will be deducted from the deposit.

E-Scooter Customer Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old or of legal age.
  • Must have experience or minimum skills in riding e-scooters.
  • Must be familiar with the operation and safe use of e-scooters.
  • Must have the physical and mental fitness for riding an e-scooter.
  • Must be aware of local traffic rules and laws regarding e-scooter use.

E-Scooter Customer Duties

  • The e-scooter must be used exclusively in public roads in Spain.
  • Obtain detailed information on e-scooter use in compliance with legal regulations before use.
  • Must acquire liability insurance from a standard provider. No insurance is provided by us.
  • Must familiarize with the e-scooter before use.
  • The e-scooter must be checked regularly before use.
  • Exercise due diligence in traffic while using the e-scooter.
  • The e-scooter should only be ridden on permitted routes and within reasonable limits.
  • Safety equipment should be used while riding the e-scooter.
  • The e-scooter must be correctly adjusted (handlebar height, tightened screws, etc.).
  • Must ride carefully to avoid risks for oneself and others.
  • The e-scooter should not be used for jumps or dangerous tricks.
  • Avoid riding at night; if necessary, lights must be turned on.
  • Ride slowly or push the e-scooter on very poor road conditions.
  • Do not ride on slippery roads.
  • Avoid riding in rain; if necessary, ensure the rubber cover over the charging port is sealed. Wet roads can be very slippery.
  • The e-scooter should not be left in the rain or parked in constantly wet locations.
  • The charging port must always be closed when the e-scooter is not being charged.
  • Do not use the e-scooter in temperatures below -5°C or above 45°C.
  • The e-scooter must be thoroughly checked every three months, joints lubricated, or screws tightened.
  • The e-scooter should only carry a maximum load of 100 kg and a maximum speed of 25 km/h.
  • Do not transport items that interfere with safe riding.
  • The e-scooter should not be lent or handed over to third parties. If it is, the responsibility for damages or incidents lies with the customer.
  • The e-scooter must be powered exclusively by electricity and ridden by no more than one person at a time.

Bike Customer Requirements

  • Must be at least 14 years old or of legal age.
  • Must have experience or minimum skills in riding bicycles.
  • Must be familiar with the operation and safe use of bicycles.
  • Must have the physical and mental fitness for riding a bicycle.
  • Must be aware of local traffic rules and laws regarding bicycle use.

Bike Customer Duties

  • The bicycle must be used exclusively on public roads in Spain.
  • Obtain detailed information on bicycle use in compliance with legal regulations before use.
  • Must acquire liability insurance from a standard provider. No insurance is provided by us.
  • Must familiarize with the bicycle before use.
  • The bicycle must be checked regularly before use.
  • Exercise due diligence in traffic while using the bicycle.
  • The bicycle should only be ridden on permitted routes and within reasonable limits.
  • Safety equipment should be used while riding the bicycle.
  • The bicycle must be correctly adjusted (seat height, handlebar height, tightened screws, etc.).
  • Must ride carefully to avoid risks for oneself and others.
  • The bicycle should not be used for jumps or dangerous tricks.
  • If the bicycle is not equipped with lights, it must not be used after dark.
  • Ride slowly or push the bicycle on very poor road conditions.
  • Do not ride on slippery roads.
  • Avoid riding in rain; if necessary, ensure the bicycle is properly maintained to handle wet conditions.
  • The bicycle should not be left in the rain or parked in constantly wet locations.
  • The bicycle must be thoroughly checked every three months, joints lubricated, or screws tightened.
  • The bicycle should only carry a maximum load appropriate for the model.
  • Do not transport items that interfere with safe riding.
  • The bicycle should not be lent or handed over to third parties. If it is, the responsibility for damages or incidents lies with the customer.
  • The bicycle must be powered exclusively by human effort and ridden by no more than one person at a time.

Hygiene Information

  • At Nomad Supply Station, we prioritize the hygiene and cleanliness of the equipment we provide to our lessees. 
  • Especially for items worn directly on the body, such as diving suits, diving masks, and bicycle helmets, we maintain strict cleanliness.
  • To ensure the highest hygiene standards, we use chlorine-based and alcohol-based cleaners to effectively eliminate bacteria and viruses, ensuring the equipment is safe and clean for the next lessee.
  • While we strive to remove all traces of cleaning agents, minimal residues may remain.
  • Nomad Supply Station assumes no liability for allergic reactions or similar sensitivities that may result from residual cleaning agents. We recommend lessees with sensitive skin or known allergies to consider this when selecting and using our equipment.

Data Protection

Platform Use

  • Use of the platform involves risks such as malware, spam, password theft, electronic breaches and manipulations, hacking, and other unauthorized data disclosures.
  • Nomad Supply Station will make all reasonable efforts to minimize these risks. However, this does not create a duty to assume liability.
  • Use of the platform is at your own risk.
  • Maintenance, upgrades, bugs, and other issues may cause interruptions or faults in platform operation. Nomad Supply Station will correct technical issues as quickly as possible within technical limits. 

Changes

  • Nomad Supply Station is entitled to change these terms and conditions provided the changes do not affect this section 20 or primary obligations and fees for primary services, and do not require the conclusion of a new contract or adjustment of fees beyond the agreed amount.
  • Changed terms will be communicated to you at least six weeks before they take effect. The changes are considered accepted if you do not object within six weeks after receiving the notice.
  • If you object to the changes, the contract will continue under the original terms. If you object, Nomad Supply Station may terminate the contract considering the customer's legitimate interests.

Applicable Law

  • The contract between Nomad Supply Station and the customer is governed by the laws of Spain. The application of the UN Sales Convention is excluded.
  • If the customer is a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive them of the protection granted by mandatory consumer protection laws applicable at their habitual residence.
  • This choice of law does not require the customer to assert their rights before a foreign court.

Severability Clause

  • This Agreement contains several provisions and terms which have been mutually agreed upon.
  • If any provision of this Agreement is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such a finding will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which will continue in full force and effect. 
  • This ensures the agreement remains operational to the greatest extent possible under the law.

Final Provisions

  • Claims or rights of the customer against Nomad Supply Station may not be assigned or pledged without Nomad Supply Station’s consent unless the customer has a legitimate interest in the assignment or pledge.
  • Should any individual provisions of these terms and conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining terms and conditions shall not be affected.
  • Nomad Supply Station is entitled to transfer the rights and obligations under the contract wholly or partially to another company.
  • In case of contract transfer to a third company, Nomad Supply Station will notify the customer and set a deadline within which the customer can terminate the contract and request deletion of their account if they do not agree to the transfer.
  • These terms and conditions apply to all aspects of the service and website.
  • By using the website and services, or upon receipt of the order confirmation, the lessee agrees to these terms and conditions.
